Scope of Work INTAKE FIXED JETTY STRUCTURE WITH RAW WATER PUMPING STATION: (CONSIDERING 23HRS. RUNNING OF PUMPING A DAY)
  • The Bid includes Survey, Design, Supply, Erection, Operation & maintenance of intake fixed jetty raw Water Pumping Station and rising main.
  • The total work includes Design, Supply, Fitting, Fixing, commissioning (72 Hours),Trial run (for three months), and thereafter O&M of one year for the pumping machinery, motors etc. and allied equipment.
  • The total capacity of the pumping station will be 500.00 cubic meter per hr(considering 25% over loading). at head (supplied by the bidder after surveying the site condition) Meter with operation of one pump. Running hours of 23 Hrs./day would yield to a supply of approx. 9.61MLD (Capacity) as per present requirement of the treatment plant.One pump unit will be in operation & otherpump will be kept stand by at any point of time. The pumps & Motors must be of continuous duty and vertical execution type. The individual pump delivery pipelines should be connected to acommon delivery manifold placed inside the pump house which is 1.5 m above HFL of the river Hooghly. The tentative plan lay out of the pumping station is 10 M X 5 M (approx.). The successful bidder will submit the drawing(s) after awarding the Bid.The suction bell mouth of the vertical turbine pumping unit should be placed in such a manner that no eddy and vortex occurred when pumping operation will put to operation.The individual delivery line should have a Duck Foot bend inside / outside of the pump house (if required). The delivery manifold should be equipped with Butterfly valves, nonreturn valve, blank-flange if necessary (detail of which is given in Technical Specification). The minimum length of delivery manifold should be as per detail technical specification. All the design of the pipelines should be such that to ensure streamline flow.
INTAKE JETTY PUMPING STATION:
  • Designing, drawing and construction of R.C.C intake Structure Bridge with pump house building having good architectural view including machine foundation for pumps and motors that will be constructed on the intake jetty structure on the river Hooghlyas per Bid drawing. One H.O.T crane of 5MT capacities to handle pump and motor is to be provided by the Bidder in the pump house. In order to accommodate control panel room equipment/appliances will be housed at a level of pumps floor. The common delivery line with valves unit is to be placed opposite to the entry of the pump house as well as in front of the control panel.
  • Designing, drawing and construction of intake fixed jetty bridge (RCC) is to be made having minimum two (2) meter width of deck slab with hand railing all along and arrangement of drawing designed raw water delivery line, drawing of intake cable line, drawing of two nos. earthing GI (25mm) strip, illumination system, aviation lighting arrangement and lightning arrestor with separate earthing arrangement.
SUBSTATION BUILDING
  • A single storied building at water treatment plant area coveringdesignated area shall have to be constructed. This will be R.C. frame building with R.C. slabs to accommodate H.T.V.C.B/Room for WBSEDCL, IndoorTransformers etc. This will also have cable trench of approx. 750mm x 600mm made of R.C.& covered with Chequered plates/R.Cslab (openable).

Scope of Work

  • Construction of civil works including supply, carriage of all materials with foundation for the various units of intake Jetty structure with raw water pumping station and pumping the raw water through proposed 400mm dia. K9 rising main up to 10 m beyond boundary of intake jetty including Planning, design, drawing, manufacture, supply, delivery at site
  • Erection & fabrication of all mechanical equipment (pipes, valves, pumps and other mechanical equipment etc)
  • Electrical equipment including (motors and all other electrical equipments as per detail technical specification & vendor
  • Trial Run and Testing the Plant for three months, after successful Commissioning
  • Operating and maintaining the same for a period of 12 (twelve) months after the completion of specified period of Successful Trial Run,
476 M3/HR CAPACITY INTAKE JETTY STRUCTURE WITH RAW WATER PUMPING STATION: (CONSIDERING 22 HRS. RUNNING OF PUMPING A DAY)
  • The total work includes Design, Supply, Fitting, Fixing, Trial run (for three months), 1 (one) Month commissioning and thereafter O&M of one year for the pumping machinery, motors etc. and allied equipment’s including proper man cooling system within the pumping station. The essential prerequisite of the O&M work is to maintain uninterrupted water supply from the pumping station as per requirement.
  • INTAKE JETTY PUMPING STATION AND WALK WAY :
    • Designing, drawing and construction of R.C.C intake Structure Bridge with pump house building having good architectural view including machine foundation for pumps and motors will be constructed on the intake jetty structure on the river Ganga/Padma as per Bid drawing.
    • Designing, drawing and construction of intake jetty bridge is to be made minimum three (3) meter width of deck slab with hand railing all along and arrangement of laying designed raw water delivery line, laying of intake cable line, laying of two nos. earthing GI (25mm) strip, illumination system, aviation lighting arrangement and lightening arrestor with 2 nos. separate earthing arrangement.
